There is a difference between Hearing and Listening. Hearing can happen without attention and understanding. It is the sound waves falling on the ears of the listener. Effective listening is paying attention and understanding the matter. Listening is very crucial to having perception of what has been said. When listening effectively you will have a better understanding of your prospect or customer enabling you to have greater control of your presentation. In this Part B course you will learn to listen effectively to help you personalize your presentation, avoid a canned or robotic style and allow more flexibility when presenting to your prospect or servicing your customer.

Kathy Sisk is the founder and president of Kathy Sisk Enterprises Inc., located in Clovis, California.
